Meet Danny Miles: Dad, Drummer, Photographer & Harmon's Drinker
Today we have the pleasure of featuring new dad and Harmon’s jingle artist, Danny Miles. Danny is best known as the drummer for the Juno award-winning band July Talk. He is also the co-producer and drummer for the alternative hip-hop band Tongue Helmet. Danny developed a passion for photographing birds as a way to find some quiet time while on tour and is involved with several wildlife charities, including FLAP Toronto, The Toronto Wildlife Centre and WWF Canada.
Are you sober, a mindful drinker or sober curious?
I have quit drinking completely. Harmon’s and other non-alcoholic beer and wine have made that a lot easier.
What’s your favourite thing about being sober?
I feel great all the time. Hangovers are a thing of the past. I am so productive. I have a lot more time for the things I love like Music, Photography and the Gym. My favourite thing to do in the world though is hang out with my new daughter Ziggy.
Favourite colour?
Red!
Favourite food?
I am a vegetarian. I love Vegetable Pad Thai, Hot Hawaiian Pizza (Pineapple, Hot Pepper, Red Onions), I am also a fan of Beyond Meat Cheese Burgers and Vegetarian Sushi.
What is your favourite way to unwind?
Producing Hip Hop (I am influenced by Madlib, The Alchemist, J Dilla), playing drums, working out at the gym and of course bird photography.
Favourite Harmon’s Product?
It’s hard to choose because I love them all but I would go with the Jack Pine.
Look for the latest @julytalk album 'Remember Never Before', dropping January 20th!!!!
